1) H.R. 1667 - Financial Institution Bankruptcy Act of 2017, as amended (PDF)

Topline Summary: This bill amends chapter 11 of Title 11 of the United States Code to better address the unique challenges presented by the insolvency of a financial institution and better allow such an institution to be resolved through the bankruptcy process.

2) S. 544 - To amend the Veterans Access, Choice, and Accountability Act of 2014 to modify the termination date for the Veterans Choice Program, and for other purposes. (PDF)

Topline Summary: This bill would remove the three-year sunset date for the Veterans Choice Program, make the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) the primary payer for the Choice program, and authorizes VA to share medical record information with a public or private health care provider in order to provide treatment to a shared patient.
