2) H.R. 4744 - Iran Human Rights and Hostage-Taking Accountability Act, as amended (PDF)

Topline Summary: This bill (1) details the human rights abuses and hostage-taking perpetrated by the Government of Iran; (2), requires the President to determine whether senior Iranian officials are responsible for human rights abuses and whether official Iranian businesses should be sanctioned for public corruption under existing law; and (3), imposes property-blocking and visa-denial sanctions for Iranian officials (and family members) responsible for politically motivated detentions of U.S. citizens and residents, or abuses against Iranian expatriates.

3) H.R. 4681 - No Assistance for Assad Act, as amended (PDF)

Topline Summary: This bill helps to ensure that the U.S. does not provide assistance for reconstruction or stabilization in areas of Syria controlled by Bashar al-Assad or his forces (subject to extensive conditions, certifications, and reporting). 

4) H.Con.Res. 111 - Recognizing and supporting the efforts of the United Bid Committee to bring the 2026 Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup competition to Canada, Mexico, and the United States, as amended (PDF)

Topline Summary: This bill supports and endorses efforts by the United Bid Committee to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

5) H.R. 5086 - Innovators to Entrepreneurs Act of 2018, as amended (PDF)

Topline Summary: This bill expands eligibility for participation in the National Science Foundation (NSF) Innovation Corps (I-Corps), allowing private funding and Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer grants to be used to cover I-Corps training expenses.

Topline Summary: This bill amends title 51, United States Code, to provide for the minimal necessary authorization and supervision of non-governmental space activities to maximize U.S. citizens’ freedom to explore and use space.

1) H.R. 4 - FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018 (PDF)

Topline Summary: This bill will is a five-year reauthorization of the Federal Aviation Administration to cut bureaucratic red tape, encourage innovation, improve airport infrastructure, improve the flight experience of the American public, and maintain safety throughout the transportation system.

2) H.R. 3144 - To provide for operations of the Federal Columbia River Power System pursuant to a certain operation plan for a specified period of time, and for other purposes  (PDF)

Sponsor: Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) | Natural Resources Committee

Topline Summary: This bill requires federally owned hydropower facilities within the Federal Columbia River Power System (FCRPS) in the Pacific Northwest to be operated according to the salmon management plan adopted by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in 2014.
