While Texans are forced to cancel summer vacations, Democrats vote to take five weeks off

Today Democrats voted to adjourn for five weeks without taking any action to lower prices at the pump.  The American people deserve for their elected officials to work to bring down the crippling costs of gasoline and diesel.  Yet, the Democrats are turning a deaf ear to the needs of the American people and instead choosing to take a five-week summer vacation.  This is blatantly wrong.  Congress should stay and work until they pass energy legislation that will bring Americans the relief they deserve.
